We’re inviting passionate makers and dedicated FARRAGOZ students to join our first wave of certified teachers. Whether your focus is furniture painting or you’re ready to expand into cushions, frames, fabrics, floorcloths, and more, our upcoming MAKE THIS series of art‑house books will equip you with everything you need to build a thriving teaching practice.
This is your chance to be part of the founding group of teachers — shaping the future of FARRAGOZ workshops and gaining early visibility in our global directory. With certification, marketing support, and lifetime course access for your students, you’ll have the tools to inspire, earn, and grow from day one.
Do I need a professional studio?
No. All you need is a designated art‑house space in your home — somewhere inspiring and comfortable for students. Share photos of your space so students know what to expect. We don’t want to exclude anyone simply because they don’t have a fancy studio. What matters most is the valuable service you provide, not the décor.
How experienced should I be?
Every student receives a copy of the online course or book, so your role is to guide them to success: supply materials, demonstrate paint mixing, show techniques, and inspire them. You don’t need decades of furniture‑painting experience — great teaching is about clarity and encouragement. If you’ve practiced the FARRAGOZ methods, created at least 10 sample boards, and applied the techniques successfully, you’re ready to apply and become a teacher.
How many students per class?
That’s entirely up to you. If your space comfortably fits two students, start there — small groups can be very rewarding. As you grow, you may find that four students per class is the sweet spot: it allows you to give each person individual attention while still creating a lively, collaborative atmosphere. Larger groups are possible if your space and teaching style support it, but we recommend beginning with smaller classes to ensure quality and a great student experience.
