What will I be doing in the Patina FINISHES Course?
You will learn how to recreate 26 specific finishes with a rich patina. Your finishes are not graded, but we do like it if students upload images of their completed boards, and we will give you feedback on them. But this course goes beyond the application of paint. You will learn how to make all your own paint and other paint products from scratch, using very old recipes to save you a fortune. There are sections on how to set up a small studio space in your home, how to set goals, how to avoid chaos, how to do presentations for clients, and much more.
Which processes are used to create these furniture finishes?
With the help of easy-to-follow step-by-step videos and instructions, we will teach you how and in which sequences to apply the homemade products and, finally, how to speed up the ageing process for the finishes to look so authentically old and worn that even an expert will find it very difficult to tell the difference.
